Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy describes the use of cookies and storage technologies by the website of Oltremare, an affittacamere (guest rooms) in Polignano a Mare (BA, Italy). It is an integral part of the Privacy Policy.
Last updated: 29 October 2026.
1. No profiling cookies
The website uses no profiling, advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics tools. That is why no banner is shown: there are no cookies requiring prior consent (Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the ePrivacy Directive).
2. Local technical storage (localStorage)
The website saves a single technical item in your browser using "localStorage" (it is not a cookie and is never sent to the server):
| Key | Value | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
oltremare-lang | it or en | Remember your language choice for future visits | Until you delete it |
This storage is strictly necessary for the service you asked for: it needs no consent, stays on your device and does not identify you.
3. Fonts
Fonts are hosted on the website's own domain: they set no cookies and involve no connection to Google or other providers.
4. Hosting
The website is hosted on Cloudflare. The provider may record technical connection logs (such as IP address) for security and operation, as described in the Privacy Policy; to protect against malicious traffic Cloudflare may set technical security cookies, which are not used for profiling.
5. External links
The website contains plain links to third-party services (Booking.com, Airbnb, WhatsApp, Google Maps): no content is embedded and no cookie is set by this website. Any cookies from those services only come into play once you open the link, under their own policies.
6. Managing cookies and local storage
You can delete cookies and site data at any time from your browser settings (Chrome: "Settings › Privacy and security"; Firefox: "Settings › Privacy & Security"; Safari: "Settings › Privacy"; Edge: "Settings › Cookies and site permissions"). Clearing local storage only removes your language preference.
